Iracnory is the last female Dragon on earth.
The king sended out his knights as well as a couple of bountyhunters to take her down and so exterminate the Dragons.
Iracnory has to be brought to safer places so she can give birth to het Dragonets and so maintain the dragon race.
Illustration started with a pencilsketch and then painted by hand in photoshop without the use of any special enhancements, photos or whatever.
I,d call it a tradigital slow-painting :-).
Done for a workshop in the kick-ass Imagine-fx magazine (78).
